Gotch Revived

In an earlier version of my blog, I posted a collection of Thomas Cooper Gotch (1854-1931) paintings that along the way got lost in the shuffle. In order to prevent them from being lost to the Net, I thought I would post them again.

The Message, Thomas Cooper Gotch

Dawn of Womanhood, Thomas Cooper Gotch

Heir to All the Ages, Thomas Cooper Gotch

Holy Motherhood, Thomas Cooper Gotch

the Awakening, Thomas Cooper Gotch

The Pageant of Childhood, Thomas Cooper Gotch

1 Comments:

  • I always found Gotch kind of odd because of the way his children look so modern. The Child Enthroned looks as if it could have been painted in year 2000. I suppose timelessness is a good thing.
