Chaisseriau Painting
Khaimraj on the GoodArt list asked about the Chasseriau Angel From the Christie's auction. It's a study from the painting Christ on the Mount of Olives. The final painting is apparently fairly heavily damaged but may have been restored since this image was recorded.

Wow!!! I just found your site when I was doing some google image searches. What a lovely collection of artwork! I just recently took a number of photographs from my visit to the Petit Palaise in Paris. Feel free to check them out. Some of the sculptures were amazing.

Please, please, please, I beg of you, make an RSS feed. The Blogger software has a way to do it automatically. I'd like to visit your page every time there's an update!

There already is an RSS feed for this blog! You can subscribe and see each new thing I add already.

Sorry. Yours is the first site I've ever encountered where the feed had no explicit button on the page. I had to read the source to find out what it was. You might consider adding one of these.

I suppose that is a bit much to ask. I'll add something next time I fool with the template. Thanks for the advice.
